I have posted other sheet pan salmon recipes in the past, and those are still wonderful options, but this recipe kicks things up a bit with more flavor. My hubby and kiddos both love fish, so I have been trying to make salmon at least once a week. It takes about 2 minutes to prep and 15 minutes to cook. Such an easy and healthy dinner for the whole family.

Not all salmon is created equal. Always choose fresh and wild fish from reliable sources. 80% of farmed fish is imported using foreign manufacturing standards that are not monitored and these fish have been linked to higher levels of
- Mercury
- Pesticides
- Dioxins
- Dioxin-like compounds (DLCs)
- Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)
Also, because of the poor nutritional feed they are given, compared to their wild-caught counterparts, farm-raised salmon:
- Contain just a fraction of heart-healthy omega-3s
- Contain a significant level of toxins, pesticides and antibiotics
- Are fed a dangerous reddish-pink dye in their food to make their flesh an unnatural red color
Alaskan Salmon is said to be the least contaminated salmon, but some other great options include:
- Southeast Alaskan chum
- Sockeye
- Coho
- Pink
- Chinook
- Kodiak Coho

Salmon Recipe
For this recipe I used wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon.
Ingredients:
- 2 pieces of wild salmon
- 3 tbsp coconut aminos (soy free alternative to soy sauce)
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp raw honey
- Pinch sea salt
- Pinch of pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Mix all ingredients, besides salmon, in a bowl. Once combined, place salmon on baking sheet or dish and pour sauce over salmon. Place in oven and bake on 350 for 15 minutes.

Optional: I added broccoli around the salmon to cook as well, but other vegetables would also be great. Just toss veggies in olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Above sauce would be a good option as well. Veggies might need to cook longer than salmon, so remove salmon from sheet pan and place veggies back in the oven for 15-20 more minutes.

Enjoy!!
