Sheet Pan Wild-Caught Salmon

I’m not going to lie, I am not the biggest seafood fan. It is probably because I was force-fed fish when I was a kid. But, I really want my kiddos to have an expanded diet and the benefits of wild seafood are so great so I make it. And, my kiddos and hubby happen to love salmon. However, I don’t force foods on them. I simply offer new foods and encourage them to try it. I don’t want to create bad associations with food that will potentially lead to eating disorders or traumatize them down the road.

This salmon is super easy to make. I took two pieces of wild caught salmon and placed skin side down in a baking dish coated in avocado oil. I topped the salmon with sea salt, fresh dill and lemon. I baked it in the oven at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

Wild salmon is a great fatty fish that is rich in omega 3 Fatty Acids, a great source of protein, high in B vitamins and Potassium, with selenium and antioxidants. This is a super easy and quick meal and perfect for the whole family!
